Inspired by the art of Japanese bonsai trees, the Bonsai radiator brings a sense of tranquility and beauty to your living space. Unlike traditional wall or floor mounted radiators, the Bonsai radiator is designed to be a decorative piece that enhances the ambiance of any room.
With its sculpted branches and sleek design, the Bonsai radiator can be placed beside a wall or next to furniture, adding an elegant touch to your hallway, bedroom, bathroom, and more. The radiator's hot plates also provide a convenient place to dry wet towels or clothes.
The Bonsai radiator is made of high-quality stainless steel, specifically type 316, which offers anti-oxidation and anti-acid properties. The radiator is created through injection molding, with each plate consisting of two flat hemispheres that are vertically welded together. The branches are made in the same manner, and then the plates and branches are welded to form the unique shape of the radiator. The final stage involves chrome plating for a sleek and polished finish. The radiator is equipped with a pump for oil circulation, ensuring efficient heating.
Measuring 110 cm in height and 90 cm in width, the Bonsai radiator is a statement piece that demands attention. The plates vary in diameter, with the largest plate measuring 32 cm and the smallest plate measuring 20 cm.
Functionality is not compromised in the design of the Bonsai radiator. It can be controlled wirelessly via a remote control, allowing users to easily turn it on or off and adjust the temperature to their preference.
The Bonsai radiator was conceptualized and created by Soroush Vahidian Kamyar in Mashhad, Iran. The project was completed between January 22, 2015, and February 24, 2015.
This innovative design has received recognition in the form of the prestigious A' Design Award. The Bonsai radiator was awarded the Silver A' Furniture Design Award in 2015, acknowledging its outstanding expertise, innovation, and artistic skill. This design showcases excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
